On June 3 and 4, 2025, Follmann hosted its very first Textile Symposium – transforming the Follmann Technology and Knowledge Center in Minden into a meeting hub for the technical textiles industry. Under the motto "Connecting Technologies – Shaping the Future," the two-day event focused on innovation, networking, and sustainable perspectives along the textile value chain.

Around 100 participants from industry, research, and practice accepted the invitation to engage in expert presentations, discussions, and one-on-one exchanges about current trends and technological developments. The agenda featured topics such as sustainable materials, digital brand management, modern adhesive technologies, and technical fabrics.
A special highlight was the exclusive plant tour on the second day of the event. For the first time, guests were given direct insights into the brand-new production facility for reactive binders – an area that is normally not open to the public. The accompanying in-house exhibition also attracted great interest and provided a platform for in-depth conversations with experts on site.
The event offered not only technical depth but also an atmosphere that encouraged meaningful exchange – whether during breaks, on the exhibition floor, or at the rooftop networking dinner.
