The Techtextil 2026 in Frankfurt was a great success for Follmann.

Four intensive days at the trade fair provided the ideal platform to strengthen our position as a partner for innovative adhesive and coating solutions and to engage directly with an international professional audience. 

At the heart was our holistic approach: we support our customers along the entire textile value chain, from the initial idea to the finished application. In doing so, we see ourselves not merely as a product supplier, but as a development partner for tailored and application-specific solutions. 

Broad Portfolio of Solutions for Diverse Applications 

A particular focus was placed on our comprehensive product portfolio for modern technical textile applications: 

In the field of coating solutions, we presented: 

  • PVC-free coatings 
  • PVC plastisols 
  • Pigment concentrates 
  • Water-based coatings  

In addition, we showcased our high-performance adhesive solutions: 

  • Reactive polyurethane hotmelts (dual cure) 
  • Non-reactive hotmelts
  • Water-based adhesives 

These solutions enable a high degree of flexibility across a wide range of applications, while also contributing significantly to the development of sustainable and high-performance end products.

Sustainability, Stability, and Future Viability in Focus 

A key theme of the trade fair was the growing importance of sustainable yet high-performance technologies. The strong interest in innovative approaches that combine ecological requirements with high functionality was clearly evident. 

Against the backdrop of current market conditions, many discussions also emphasized the importance of reliable supply chains and security of supply for long-term partnerships. Follmann addresses these requirements in a targeted manner, combining them with the ambition to continuously develop sustainable and future-oriented solutions. 

 

Personal Exchange as a Success Factor 

In addition to the technologies presented, personal interaction was a major success factor at the trade fair. Techtextil 2026 offered the opportunity to deepen existing partnerships, establish new contacts, and discuss current market requirements firsthand. The insights gained will directly feed into our ongoing development work. 
 

Outlook: Textile Symposium 2027 

The trade fair once again demonstrated the dynamic of the industry and the strong demand for innovative, sustainable solutions. Follmann is well positioned to actively help shape these developments. 

The next important date has already been set: on June 2–3, 2027, Follmann will host a Textile Symposium in Minden. Participants can look forward to exciting insights into current developments, innovative technologies, and opportunities for in-depth professional exchange.
