Adhesive types
Adhesive types
We offer the following adhesive types:
1C polyurethane adhesives
Our 1C-PUR adhesives have a 100% solid content. The 1C prepolymer reacts and cross-links with the moisture from the air and the substrate to be bonded. Our adhesives achieve a broad adhesion spectrum for a wide range of substrates in combination with high strength values and are used in various industries (e.g. wood and furniture industry, construction industry, sandwich and panel industry, insulation industry, caravan + transportation etc.). The 1C-PUR adhesives offer the following benefits:
- High temperature resistance and very good moisture resistance of the bond due to cross-linking
- Foaming of the product enables the compensation of uneven substrate surfaces
- Products are adjustable in terms of viscosity, cross-linking speed & foaming degree
- Can be processed manually or via roller, nozzle or spray application
Dispersion adhesives
Our PVAc and EVA dispersion adhesives are used in various applications, such as in the wood and furniture industry or in the paper and packaging industry. They are available as one- or two-component systems and comply with the standards DIN EN 204 and DIN EN 14257 / WATT91. Our dispersions offer the following benefits:
- Adapted to the most diverse requirements
- Highest product safety through strength and heat resistance
- Bonding of various media is possible, such as wood, high-pressure laminates, foils, vinyl and many more

EVA hotmelts
Our EVA hotmelt adhesives are used in many applications: whether in the wood and furniture industry for edge gluing or wrapping or in the graphic industry for book binding. You will find the right adhesive for every application. Our adhesives offer the following benefits:
- Very high strength
- High initial strengths allow fast processing times
- Excellent adhesion
- High thermal stability
- Harmless to health
- Ecologically sustainable

Pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSA)
Pressure-sensitive adhesives are permanent adhesive systems based on synthetic rubbers (styrene block copolymers; SIS, SBS, SEBS) for permanent and resealable bonds. They retain their tack even after cooling and are particularly suitable for substrates that are difficult to bond. The pressure-sensitive adhesives are used in transport and shipping packaging, labeling, adhesive tapes, auxiliary assembly adhesives, as well as in the manufacture of mattresses and upholstery. The pressure sensitive adhesives offer the following benefits:
- Very high initial stack
- Excellent flow behavior
- Flexible adhesive joint
- Homogeneous and fast melting
- Suitable for common processing methods (nozzle, roller or spin spray application)

Folco React HP
The new FOLCO REACT HP product group comprises adhesives with at least two reaction mechanisms. The latest patent-pending High-Performance developments in this series are reactive polyurethane hot melt adhesives with silane-modified acrylates
- FOLCO REACT 50401 (lamination of technical textiles)
and
- FOLCO REACT 50501 (bonding of panels/surfaces)
Folco React HP 50401
Dual cure polyurethane hot melt adhesive with low melt viscosity and low initial tack, especially for lamination of textile materials.
Special features:
- improved crosslinking by dual curing (combining the reaction mechanisms of silane-modified acrylates and isocyanates).
- patent pending technology
- extremely high resistance to washing, temperature and chemicals
Folco React HP 50501
Dual cure polyurethane hot melt adhesive with very good adhesion properties (especially to aluminum) and high plasticizer resistance for bonding flat materials (e.g. LVT flooring).
Special feature:
- improved crosslinking through dual curing (combination of the reaction mechanisms of silane-modified acrylates and isocyanates).
- patent pending technology
- improved adhesion to non-organic materials (especially aluminum)
- very high water, heat and plasticizer resistance
PO hotmelts
Like EVA-based hotmelt adhesives, PO hotmelt adhesives have very high strengths. A major advantage is the high heat resistance, as required in critical areas of the furniture industry (e.g. kitchen furniture). But these adhesives are also used in the packaging industry. Our adhesives offer the following benefits:
- High initial strengths allow fast processing times
- Excellent adhesion
- High thermal stability
- Harmless to health
- Ecologically sustainable

Reactive hotmelt adhesives
Our reactive hotmelt adhesives have a 100% solids content and maintain their physical strength upon cooling followed by chemical crosslinking with moisture from air and the workpiece to be bonded. They enable a highly efficient process control and the open times are variable and can be adapted to your individual requirements. The performance spectrum and the special property profile of polyurethane hotmelts are used in various industries (e.g. automotive, wood + furniture industry, filter industry, abrasives industry, sandwich and panel industry, flat lamination, technical textiles, caravan + transportation etc.) Reactive hotmelt adhesives offer the following benefits:
- Broad adhesion spectrum for a wide range of substrates
- Soft and flexible adhesive joint after crosslinking
- High initial strength
- Very good temperature resistance
- High resistance to washing and hydrolysis
- Can be used in a wide variety of application processes (roller application, spray application, nozzle application, etc.)
